Since then, the two team have been playing the Extra Time. This artwork is a football metaphor, which speaks about something completely different, as the global contemporary political-religious situation. The news of the World Trade Center attack became a global top story in a few seconds, capturing the attention of all media. Since the day after, television, newspapers and web channels covered almost only this fact. This news was on the front page of all newspapers around the world, even on Gazzetta dello Sport, the most-known Italian sports newspaper. This allows understanding the breakthrough this event represented for the whole world. Everything changed after that day. This is an original issue of Gazzetta dello Sport out in newsstands on 12th September 2001. Fino all'11 Settembre 2001 l'Occidente credeva di aver vinto la sua partita con l'Oriente che invece ha segnato il gol del pareggio proprio allo scadere dei tempi regolamentari. Da quel momento le due squadre stanno giocando i tempi supplementari. Quest'opera è una metafora calcistica sulla situazione politico-religiosa mondiale dei giorni nostri.
